We went to Sacramento California for Christmas to spend it with Eric's family. It was so nice, fun, warm, relaxing and we made a lot of great memories. I love being with family for Christmas, even though I didn't have snow, (A white Christmas) I still enjoyed it.
While we were there Eric worked on his car with his dad and put on a trailer hitch for our new trailer, I learned how to bake; million dollar fudge, homemade reese's pieces butter cup and banana nut bread. They turned out really good, I couldn't eat a lot though because I knew how much butter and sugar there was in most of the treats. We also rode our motorcycles with Eric's sisters, We went shopping and ate a lot of yummy food!
I love seeing family traditions. One of Eric's family traditions is they play chimes to Christmas songs, It is a great way to have everyone get involved and have a good time. One of the songs was Silent Night and it brought the Spirit of Christmas and the meaning of Christmas in the room. I'm so grateful for this Gospel and for families that care and love me. I have great in-laws and wouldn't change them for the world!
