Olivia Kate Smith

Olivia Kate Smith was born March 26th at 7:23 A.M. She was 8 lb. 4 oz and 21 inches. I had a caesarean section and surprisingly everything went really well. We were in the hospital for four days and got to go home friday morning. The madison hospital was great and the nurse's were so nice and helped me out a lot. I'm so glad I was at a nice hospital and had great doctors there.
I won't get into all the details but it was an amazing experience to go through and I'm recovery pretty well. People say if you don't have a baby normal birth then your missing out on the "beauty of birth." And honestly I don't agree with that, it was an amazing experience to share with Eric and to know that we made a beautiful healthy baby. I'm so glad everything went well and there wasn't any high risk on me or the baby. I'm so blessed to have Olivia and to care for her. I couldn't image my life without her.
Her looks are all her daddy!

My new family! :)

Love those chunky cheeks!

My mom got here friday night and is able to stay here for ten days. I'm so glad she is here, I don't know what I would have done without her, since I'm finishing my last semester in school. So grateful for her! My sister Jillian and her family surprised me Saturday afternoon and stayed for a day and then my other sister Alli and her husband came that evening and also surprised me, even though they were here for a day it was so nice for them to make the effort to come up and surprise me. I love my family so much and grateful for all the things they do for me.

My sweet niece Abbie holding her new cousin and my sister Jill.

Playing with Abbie at the playground.. she is a future biker chic!

She will always be my favorite niece!
