I forgot to write about memorial day. It was so nice to have everyone home from work and hung out, played golf, and had a BBQ that evening. I haven't seen some of my aunt's, uncle's and cousins for a while so it was nice to see them. That whole day I was thinking about my loved ones who passed and the great memories I had with them.
My Grandpa Barnhurst died when I was 7 so I don't remember a lot... but what I do remember is every time I came over to his house I would fall asleep on his lap while he read me a story. I know he is always close and near watching us and my Grandma.
My Grandma Darrow was an amazing lady, she loved her kids and her grandkids very much. She passed away when I was 17, so I had a lot of memories with her. One of my favorite ones is she was helping me with a young women's project and we were sewing school bags for children in Africa, it was such a bonding experience for both of us and that was the first time I sewed. So every time I sew I think of her. Thanks Grandma for teaching me how to sew and other things in life.
I love you both can't wait to see you one day!
