It was Olivia's first time eating solids, rice cereal and needless to say she loved it. I knew she was ready for some more food.. the milk just wasn't filling her up. The doctors say to wait until 6 months but she is almost 5 months and she was ready for it. "Mothers know best." I love how in-tune I am to her, when she is crying and I've done everything I can think of.. a thought came to my mind to try something else and it works. I love that turns to me for help. I'm really enjoying being a mother! I'm so lucky to have her as my daughter.
Olivia is also sleeping through the whole night.. finally, from 10-6. I have to admit letting her cry was totally worth it. Before our vacation I had her sleeping schedule down, but the vacation kinda of mixed her up. So now she is back on track. Last night she slept from 10:15pm to 8:15am, a whole TEN hours! I was so surprised she slept that long.. she usually wakes up at six to eat but I didn't wake and just let her sleep.. it was so nice to sleep during that.
