Valentines Decorations:

For you ladies that love to decorate for the Holidays and want to know a cheap way to do it here are some ideas. I make most of my decorations because it's cheaper and I already have most of the stuff anyways. Also you can find cute Valentines decoration from dollar stores or even Walmart.

Wax Paper Crayon Hearts:
You will need:
Crayons (I did red, pink, purple, white & some black)
2 sheets of Wax Paper
Ironing board
Iron
Old Towel
Set up your ironing board, set your iron on medium heat, then shave your crayons (I used a potato peeler to shave the crayons.) Then you will put down a old towel on the ironing board, wax paper, shaved crayons, the other wax paper in that order. Then you take your iron and start ironing the crayons, go slow and make sure you don't leak on the edges. When you are done hurry and trace heart shapes and cut it out. The faster you do this the better. And you can hang them on ribbon or string like I did. Or you can put tape them on the window or place them on a table or shelf.

Next I made a Valentines banner.
This is so simple and cute.
You will need:
Any paper (I used Valentines scrap-paper)
Markers
String
I cut out heart shapes on the scrap-paper, write the letters on them, punch holes on top and then string it. There are many different ways to do this, it's whatever you like and works for you. I actually cut out the letters because I didn't have white marker and I wrote Happy and Day on one heart or else it would have been too long to hang it and it saves paper. It really depends on what you like. Banners are easy to make and they look cute hung up. But if you didn't want to make it you can always buy them from Dollar stores or Walmart.

Most of this stuff on my table is from Dollar Tree. I found the heart mats, glass vase that say love on them, heart shaped fillers, and fake flowers, I could of bought real flowers but I didn't want them to be dead by Valentines day.

Most of this stuff I had already. I got the X0X0 from hobby lobby on sale. I got the heart shape candy bowl and candy from Dollar Tree and then I had the rest of the decorations. I cut out some more hearts on cute scrap-paper and laid them on the shelf and then put ribbon around the top. Obviously you don't have to do it this way but I thought it was simple but cute. That was my theme!
My advice is try and come up with a theme and then decorate around that theme. And remember you don't have to spend a lot on decorations. :)
