For the weekend Eric was out of town visiting family in Arizona. So my mom decided to come up for the weekend and keep us company. It is always nice when my Mom visits. I love it when she is here, because we always go do stuff and I get a lot of things done. Friday we took it easy, went shopping around the burg and then I made her dinner. Since she always makes dinner for us so I decided to make dinner for her. Saturday we got up and went to Idaho Falls and shopped. We went to the mall, target, Sam's club and our favorite store Ross. That is one of our favorite thing to do together is shop! I let her pick anything she wanted at Ross for her Birthday, which is today. Sunday morning started off bad with Olivia crying at 5:30 am because she is teething and she wouldn't take a bottle or sleep, but finally she fell asleep. I almost didn't want to go to Church because I wanted her to sleep. But then my Mom reminds me Sunday is a great day because we get to worship God and take the sacrament, and then I had a change of heart and decided to go to church and wake up Olivia. Church was great and we taught about the pioneers and how much faith they had to keep going, I'm so glad I had my Mom to remind me of Church, even if it was a bad day or feel like not going.. we should still go to Church. Monday morning we took a walk with Olivia while Eric was at school, it was such a beautiful morning to relax and talk with my mom. I love our talks, she is a great listener and always has great advice to give me. And then we came home and she packed up and headed back to Utah. It's always sad to see her leave but it's nice to know that I have her for eternity.
Mom you are a great friend, listener, wonderful cook, very fashionable, always positive, willing to serve others, always makes time for the Savior, you are a wonderful Grandma and an amazing person inside and out! Your the best mom, thanks for everything and Happy 54th Birthday!!
