I loved General Conference this week. I have a lot of favorite talks but one of my favorites is by Elder D. Todd Christofferson, he spoke the second session on Saturday. His talk is called The Moral Force of Women. He talked about how important women are not just in the world but in the home.
"A women's influence is no better than in the home... Through a mothers example, a son learns to respect womenhood, and incorporate high moral standards in his life; a daughter cultivates virtue and learns to stand up for what is right."
While we are promise to raise children in the Gospel, they will learn it first in our homes and we as mothers are responsible to make sure our children understand the Gospel and know they are loved not just from their families, but from Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.
"Women bring with them a certain virtue, a divine gifts that makes them adept at instilling such qualities as faith, courage, empathy, and refinement, in relationships and in cultures." Elder Christofferson said

I think we get caught up in the world things and get down on ourselves constantly, we need to realize being a wife and mother is so important and that is our many duty here on this earth. Being a mother is defiantly not easy and sometimes I feel like I have more bad days then good, but if I try my best and go to my Father in Heaven for help I know I can accomplish anything and he will help me raise my children on the straight and narrow path. Heavenly Father isn't asking us to be perfect but he is asking us to try and do our best. I'm so grateful to be a mother and wife and raise my children in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saint.
