Cooking Club is every third Thursday of the month. It's where a
group of ladies get together for dinner and everyone brings something for
dinner. The host for that month provides the main dish at their house and then
everyone else brings an appetizer, side, salad, dessert or drinks. This is my
second time going and I've really liked going, because I can visit with new
friends, and have a break from "mom-duty."
I love being a mom but once in a while I need a
"mini-break" from it all. For me when I have a break I come from my break I feel recharged and I can accomplished more things.
I'm
glad that my husband lets me have breaks now and then. I think every Mother
needs one, rather it's a 15-minute break or an hour. So any mothers that is reading
this… if you haven't taken a break in a while I suggest you do so, rather it's getting your nails done, having a girls night, or even grocery shopping by your self, you will
feel so much better after.
